District 671 FoundationJoe Phillips, Chair
The Rotary District 671 Foundation was established in 1983 pursuant to a District Resolution. It is a nonprofit corporation formed under Kentucky law and exempt from taxation under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code and is established to administer a District 671 Scholarship Fund and such other charitable, educational or eleemosynary institutions or projects as may be sponsored or approved by District.
The membership of the corporation consists of the District’s College of Governors. The corporation is administered by an eight-member Board of Trustees. The members are appointed by the District Governor, with the approval of the College of Governors, for staggered terms of four years each. Each District Governor appoints two members each year.
