Chuck Cicchella
District Governor 2009-2010
Rotary Club of Shelbyville

Joining the Louisville, Kentucky Rotary Club in 1974, both Chuck and his wife, Geri are Paul Harris Fellows and Major Donors to the Rotary International Foundation. Chuck is a member of the Shelbyville, Kentucky Rotary Club and served as its’ president in the 1999-2000 Rotary year. He then served as Assistant District Governor for District 6710 (2000-03) and as Assistant Governor Eastern Region Liaison (2003-04). For the past two years he has served as District Chairman of the New Generations programs.

Chuck has a rich Rotary background having served in the Chattanooga, TN Rotary Club (1985-90) assigned to several committees and having served as Secretary/Treasurer of the Columbia, SC Rotary Club (1990-97). 

Chuck retired after serving 33 years as a Scout Executive with the Boy Scouts of America. He then served as a Fund Raising Consultant for a couple of years and now works as a Property Manager for the Bailey Property Management firm located in
Louisville, Kentucky. 

He’s Chairman of the Endowment program at his church, serves as a Board member of the Shelbyville Student Loan Fund, Past Board President of the Charleston Homeowners Association, a Scouting Institutional Representative, and is a member of the Honorable Order of Kentucky Colonels. Chuck has also served in the past as Shelbyville “Kettle Chair”/board member of the Salvation Army, board member of the Shelby County Farmers Market, and as a Trustee to his church.

Chuck and his lovely wife, Geri have four children, five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Both he and Geri enjoy art, music, gardening, and spoiling great-grand children.
