Strategic Plan

In October, 2005, District 6710 Rotarians were sent a comprehensive survey designed to elicit opinions and knowledge levels concerning the functions of a Rotary District.  Using the results of this survey, a “summit” team representing a cross section of Rotarians met at Rough River Resort on January 6 & 7, 2006.  This team drafted a strategic plan.  Following the “summit” team meeting, Action Teams were formed in all Areas of the District.  These teams fleshed out various goals and action plans to achieve these goals under each of the strategies.  These teams met with District leadership in September, 2006 to deliver their reports.

In June 2008 and again in September 2009 a team was reconvened to review, revise, and renew the plan.  Each time the team consisted of a cross section of District 6710 Rotarians.
