To all District 6710
Rotarians:
We are now accepting
applications for GSE TEAM LEADER and GSE TEAM MEMBERS to the following countries:
Norway
| March 1, 2009 to March 29, 2009 | | Brazil | May 8, 2009 to June 6, 2009 |
Team Leaders
A team leader must be a member in good standing of a Rotary
Club in District 6710.
The following qualifications are helpful but not necessary
to be selected as a team leader:
- Be an
experienced Rotarian, especially in international service
- Be somewhat
fluent in the language of the host country (Norwegian, Portuguese)
- Be an alert
and energetic team leader
Team Members
A team member must:
- Be currently employed for at least two
years in any business or profession on a full-time basis
- Be 25 to 40 years
of age at the time of application
- Live or work in District 6710
- Be US citizens
The GSE selection committee will meet in early September
(date to be announced) to interview and select candidates. A candidate may apply for either exchange or
both exchanges.
