Applications for 2009-10 (awarded for the 2010-11 Academic Year)
Deadline for Rotary Clubs to submit applications to the Scholarship Committee: March 12, 2010*
The deadline was extended to March 12 due to many schools being closed for several snow days in January and February.
This year, District 6710 will award five $1500 college scholarships for use in the academic year 2010-11. Scholarships are made possible through the proceeds of the District 671 Foundation. Eligible applicants are high school seniors or current college students. Click the link above to download the current application. The District 671 Foundation Scholarship Awards Committee
will select the recipients from submitted applications.
All applicants must apply through a local Rotary Club. Click here to see a list of local Rotary Clubs. If you need help locating the contact information for your local Rotary Club, contact info [at] rotarydistrict6710 [dot] org.
All recipients of scholarships must register as full time
students and maintain full-time student status.
Family members of Rotarians are eligible except for those
related to members of the District 671 Foundation Scholarship Awards Committee.
Should you be selected as a recipient, please reserve Saturday, March 27, 2010 for interviews.
The deadline for your sponsoring Rotary Club to submit your application to the Scholarship Committee is March 12, 2010. This means that your application must be to the Rotary Club before then. Contact the local Rotary Club for individual deadline details.
Interested applicants should contact the local Rotary Club with any questions.
Preference is given to applicants with demonstrated financial need.

ONLY ONE APPLICATION PER ROTARY CLUB WILL BE ACCEPTED.If your club has several candidates, have
your club’s scholarship committee review them and select the most qualified candidate to forward to the District 671 Foundation
Scholarship Awards Committee.
Please be sure that the application is complete, including a
photograph.
The local Rotary Club must complete the bottom of page 4 with
its endorsement.
