Make plans to attend District 6710’s first ever FALL District Conference!  More than just a new date! Check out these Conference Highlights:

 

• Exhibit/Trade Show- Sponsor a table for $50 to showcase your business, charity, cause, or hobby in the new House of Friendship.  Sign up for your table space when you register for the conference!
• Home Hospitality Dinner- On Thursday evening, October 6, Rotarians from around the Louisville area will host Rotarians and guests from other parts of the district for fellowship dinners.  To participate, sign up when you register. 
• Successful Project Showcase- Start your day off right by learning the 411 about successful service and fundraising projects during breakfast on Friday and Saturday mornings at the roundtable discussions. Hosted by the Rotarians that made them happen!
• Rockin’ Fellowship Dinner- This exciting fellowship event definitely won’t be another rubber chicken dinner!  Don your 50s attire or Rotary gear for this fun 1950s themed event.  With a focus on fun and fellowship, this rockin’ event will feature entertainment, fun prizes, (and no speeches)!  After dinner, rock around the clock as you dance the night away!
• Service Projects- In the true spirit of Rotary we will join together for a hands-on community service project on Saturday morning following breakfast.  Help clean up the Louisville riverfront-family members are encouraged to participate. Participants will receive Rotary logo work gloves and a poncho in a reusable lunch bag. Bring your old shoes to donate to Edge Outreach for clean water projects. Even your grungiest worn-out sneakers can help!

Lodging Information

HOTEL INFORMATION: A block of rooms has been reserved at the Galt House at a special conference rate of $109 per night plus applicable taxes.  To make reservations, contact the hotel directly at 1-800-THE-GALT and indicate that you are with the ROTARY DISTRICT CONFERENCE.  Reservations must be made no later than September 25, 2011 to receive the conference rate.
